A Lifelong
Love Affair...

Master Chocolatier Donna Harrison has had a lifelong love affair with chocolate and pastry arts. As a child she devoured cookbooks and became an accomplished baker. Even as a child she had a highly developed chocolate sense and sought out chocolates of all kinds although she has always had a preference for high quality dark chocolate. Years later a corporate team building event introduced her to the fundamentals of truffle making and her love affair quickly turned into an all-consuming passion. Her quest for knowledge, combined with her love of colors, and her passion for chocolate resulted in the creation of Chocolate Sage.

After 20 years of experience in the Higher Education world, Donna decided to broaden her horizons and received her training as a professional chocolatier through Ecole Chocolat in Vancouver BC. Donna has also studied at the French Culinary Institute in NYC and has earned Master Chocolatier designations from Ecole Du Grand Chocolat Valrhona à Tain L’Hermitage France. Donna was the Owner, Chocolatier and Baker for Wish You Were Here, a resort boutique located in Asbury Park.
